Meet Our Team
Jina Landy, Mental Health Counselor-Intern
Hi, I’m Jina. I know that facing trauma and mental health challenges can be tough, but I believe in your strength to overcome them. Currently, I’m pursuing my Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling at Boston University, after earning my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, where I graduated magna cum laude. As a U.S. Coast Guard veteran, I’ve developed a deep understanding of resilience, perseverance, and the importance of mental health in overcoming life’s toughest moments.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy and client-centered care, with a focus on helping individuals move through their trauma and enhance their overall well-being. I am passionate about creating a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to heal. I use a combination of evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care to meet you where you are, helping you build resilience and improve your quality of life.
When I’m not studying or working with clients, you’ll often find me enjoying time at the beach, staying active, and playing sports with friends. I’m excited to join you on your journey toward growth and healing, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Jina is available for in-person sessions, offering personalized care and support in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
