Meet the Facilitator!

Hello! I’m Rev. Saramaria Allenby, an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ with a deep passion for group work and supporting individuals on their healing journeys. Guiding groups has been one of the most fulfilling parts of my work, as I believe in the power of connection and shared experiences to foster growth and resilience.

As a Chaplain at Falmouth Hospital, I provide compassionate care to those navigating life’s challenges. My experience includes over five years leading meditation and spiritual practices at WellStrong, where I witnessed the transformative impact of mindfulness in building strength and hope. Prior to that, I spent seven years as the Spiritual Care Advisor at Gosnold, supporting individuals in recovery through their own powerful transformations.

I also lead a nonprofit, Spirituality in Practice, offering teachings and group sessions focused on love, hope, connection, and forgiveness. My approach is grounded in kindness, openness, and a deep understanding of the human experience, creating safe spaces for individuals to grow and explore.

As the facilitator of the Empowered Recovery Group, I am honored to guide this supportive community, where together we navigate the path of recovery, healing, and empowerment. I look forward to walking alongside you on this journey.
