Hi there, I'm Jennifer. I commend you for taking the first step towards the change you seek. Finding the right therapist is an important part of your healing journey. I'm glad you're here.

My therapeutic style is person-centered, founded on a unique blend of psychodynamic and CBT orientations. This means that you will find an empathetic and safe space with me, where we look at the past to inform the present, while also working towards your goals. In our counseling together, I will draw on a variety of other treatment modalities that are specifically tailored to support your needs. These supplemental approaches are grounded in trauma-informed, strength-based, positive psychology, and solution-focused theories. I also have additional training in mindfulness and self-compassion, and believe deeply in a holistic focus to help clients achieve mental well-being.

Currently, I am pursuing my Masters at NYU in Mental Health & Wellness Counseling.

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I became a certified life coach, co-founded a consultancy firm, and worked in corporate marketing for the restaurant industry. I obtained my B.A. in Communications from DePaul University in Chicago. These various life experiences have helped me to develop an open perspective and growth mindset. Beyond the therapeutic world, I enjoy hanging with my husband of 16 years, as well as family and friends. I also love volunteering, photography, and traveling. I look forward to meeting you!
